New Survey Reveals Support for Pre-K Education on Long Island

Long Islanders overwhelmingly support pre-K education, according to a recent public opinion survey. Eighty-seven percent of Long Islanders said that it is important for children to attend a preschool for at least a year in order to succeed in school. Seventy-four percent also supported the use of public funding for voluntary pre-kindergarten programs for all families.
