People often think of their education as one of the most important investments they can make to enhance their, or their child’s, prospects for an economically secure future. Similarly, at the societal level, we frequent think in terms of society’s need to invest in the education of its youth in order to ensure a prosperous and globally competitive national future. As we are all aware though, high quality educational outcomes do not come at a cheap cost.
