New Long Island Index Infographics Released
The Long Island Index created six new infographics to raise awareness of the need for multifamily housing on Long Island. Addressing that need is essential to attracting the businesses and retaining the Long Islanders needed for a thriving 21st-century economy. The current housing options are not sufficient. As a result, one in two Long Islanders say they are likely to move away in the next five years; 70% of the region’s young workers say they are likely to move by 2020.
